This evening, I finally saw Up.

OHHOLYSHITGUYSITWASAMAZING.

But you all already knew that. XD Everyone probably saw it already, lol. I'm late. lD

Seriously, though. I could rant about it for hours. The acting was great, the characters, ALL of them, were incredibly likable, the animation was beautiful, and the story was really touching. It almost made me cry, but my family was in the room with me, so that was a little out of the question. It still had that cheery air that you can feel from most Pixar movies, but it was clear that they weren't afraid of upseting the younger audience. I just LOVE it when movies do that. <3 My only complaint was that I think they could've done just an eensy-teensy bit more with the actual journey in the sky before they land, and we could've been made to sympathize with the villain just a tad more (don't get me wrong, he was still epic, Christopher Plummer FTW), but those are simply minor inconviniences. Because that's only stuff that could've been put in. What WAS in the movie was just perfect. The whole thing gave me this really strong warm, fuzzy feeling, and it caused me to constantly squeal and annoy my family.

So yeah. If you were one of the poor, deprived human beings who didn't see this in the theater, like me, then what the hell are you doing reading this? Make plans to rent the dang thing, already!

Also, do you realize how hard it is to search for fanart for something with a name as obscure as "Up?" I came across nearly all of my other fandoms while wading through all the pictures to find it!
